HerbCrafted Part-Time TCM Herbal Consultant

Hours: 10-15 per week (evening and weekend availability required)

Location: Remote

The Position:

HerbCrafted is seeking passionate part-time consultants and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal consultants who embrace a natural herbal lifestyle and advocate reducing the use of chemical and additive products for families and children. As part of our team, you will help individuals achieve holistic wellness by restoring body balance through TCM herbal therapies and lifestyle guidance, empowering the community to embrace natural health solutions.

You’ll provide outstanding care and education, assist with community inquiries, and contribute to improving the overall HerbCrafted experience by channeling feedback to the rest of our team to continuously iterate, improve how we serve our community, and get more people to experience the benefits of Chinese herbs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven team, enhance your TCM wellness and professional knowledge, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

What you’ll do:

Deliver TCM related education and emotional support through personal interactions (both 1-on-1 and in small group settings) to HerbCrafted community members along key points of their wellness journey, actively listening and tailoring messaging appropriately, fostering trust and loyalty that translates into long term customer relationships.

By explaining traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) concepts in a clear and accessible way—especially patterns and concepts related to common TCM wellness practices—we educate, inspire, and empower HerbCrafted community members to make informed purchasing decisions and take action.

Based on individual circumstances and TCM teachings, we recommend suitable HerbCrafted formulations and encourage healthy lifestyle habits, seeking opportunities to improve the quality of life for our community members.

Maintain follow-up communication with community members via check-in calls, emails, and/or SMS using strong organizational skills.

Assist Community Experience Associates in answering TCM-related user questions.

Serve as a liaison between the HerbCrafted community members and the HerbCrafted team to elevate themes from community member questions, identify trends for new educational and marketing content, and opportunities to improve the HerbCrafted experience and marketing funnel.

Possible opportunities to create educational content (blogs, email, webinars, social media) and get involved in additional projects that further the HerbCrafted mission and business goals.

Who You Are:

Natural Teacher: Able to explain complex TCM concepts in a relatable and engaging way, tailoring messaging to each individual's learning style.

Chinese Medicine Practitioner: If you have a master's or doctoral degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (or are in the final year of your program, with clinical herbal experience and completed formulation courses), this is a great advantage.

Motivational and Inspiring: Skilled at connecting with and inspiring people of diverse backgrounds, supporting with compassion, while motivating people to take action.

Self-Starter: Thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment with minimal oversight.

Tech-Savvy: Confident using tools like Google Suite (Docs, Calendar, Sheets) and quick to learn new systems.

Mission-Driven: Passionate about holistic health and advancing overall wellness through TCM, and not afraid to use that passion to inspire people to buy HerbCrafted herbal products.

Creative Problem Solver: Brings innovative ideas to enhance community engagement and improve processes - appreciates challenging the status quo, with a mindset of ‘how can we do this even better?’

Team Player: Works collaboratively, contributes ideas to improve team performance, and embraces new opportunities with a positive attitude.
